It hurts to look at this on the chopping block. I am a Shakespearean Fool of the first variety to even consider it. The top is -gorgeous- as is the rest of the wood. Dana's 00 12 fret downward bridge is possibly the perfect stage guitar for the gigging musician. The only problem is that it would be like using the Mona Lisa as a chalkboard during NFL Halftime!

This looks to be an absolute gem. What a stunner -- in looks and tone. I wish I was in a position to make it happen. I feel the mortal sin of envy for whoever ends up with this one.

Can you explain the downward bridge and how it affects tone....

I know that's sort of poor wording on my part. The 12 fret neck pushes the bridge closer to the end pin, and further away from the x braces. For me, this makes the instrument more responsive and improves bass. Hope this helps.
