For a Blueridge, Maury's would be my first choice. Elderly my second.

I've purchased and sold instruments from and to these sellers. All were great transactions:

Heartbreaker Guitars
Soundpure
Sweetwater

Here's your guitar at Maury's;

https://www.maurysmusic.com/inc/sdet...41/35915/53486

If you call, tell them that you are a AGF member and that you were told you'd get the best price from them. They will do their best for you.

I ordered a Martin Road Series from them at around 4:30 in the afternoon and they had it to me on Long Island before 9:30 the next day.

In the carbon fiber camp, Emerald is top notch. Very friendly people with great service, quick responses and willing to meet customers needs readily.

Default Reputable online guitar dealers?

Wow! No idea there were so many different dealers with credible recognition on this forum!! I think I’ll head in the Maury’s direction..
Now my only dilemma is, do I purchase an Eastman E10P that I have played before in a local shop (quite satisfied), or should I roll the dice for the guitar I haven’t played, but looks better to me on paper..

Ditto. And they send you some sweet candy for your spouse with every order to help smoothe things out if you need to. 😎

Like others, I've had good luck with Sweetwater and I'd recommend them.

I've had poor luck with Musician's Friend, and probably would not use them again.

Other than those two, I've not made any major purchases (like a whole guitar) from another online retailer. I've bought parts from American Musical and have had good buying experiences with them.

I have nothing but praise for Sweetwater. I have purchased 2 guitars, a keyboard, a uke, mics, etc.,etc and they're the best but they do not carry Blueridge Guitars .. if they did I'd buy one of those too.

There are all sorts of reasons to buy a guitar by mail order and there are reputable on-line dealers from which to buy a guitar. I've purchased a guitar by mail from a forum sponsor -- it all worked out fine and dandy.

And there's no reason not to consider Blueridge.

And yet . . . in what way does the Blueridge look better to you "on paper"? If you like the feel and the sound of the local guitar, and the price is fine
. . . well . . . they all sound the same on paper, don't they?

I've had great experiences selling and buying from Guitargallery. Some good experiences with Dreamguitars. And a great experience with Gregboyd.

As you've heard for the last three pages, there are lots of reputable online dealers. If you're debating between BR and Eastman, maybe give Ted at LA Guitar Sales a call too. He carries Eastman, but used to carry BR too, and he'd provide honest answers to any questions you may have between the two brands.

Good luck with your search!
