Contemporary Travis Picking/Mark Hanson/What Guitar?

I bought the book/cd by Mark Hanson titled The Art of Contemporary Travis Picking.(mapletrees suggested it) and I am very satisfied with it.

The sound quality is excellent.

Would anyone happen to know what type guitar Mark Hanson plays on this cd? I really like the sound of that guitar.

I am halfway through the second book, Having more fun with this than when when I was playing rock as a kid.

I explained to my son, that I feel more connected with the guitar.

I think it's called "The Art of Solo Fingerpicking." You could check that on Amazon.com or Elderly.com (or check to see if Mark Hanson has a website).

I exchanged a couple of emails with Mr Hansons company accentonmusic.

In 1986 when the Art of Contemporay Travis Picking was recorded he played a Martin D28.

He now plays a Collings.
