Default Rainsong Nashville Prototype

Saw this on Rainsong’s Facebook page yesterday. Does anyone have any insight into this model?

So far, it looks like a special version of the JM body with a vintage sunburst (or other variant) finish, distinct from their tobacco sunburst finish already available, since it's black on the outside edges and sides. Shark inlays and LR Baggs preamp in the photo, looks like the 14-fret neck. I've seen it on their Facebook feed, it looks interesting. Definitely evokes a certain vintage element, even if it's totally modern underneath. I'll be curious to see the full specs when they're revealed.

Thanks for the input. The sunburst looks much nicer to my eyes than previous offerings.

I wonder if Kramster has one of these, yet?

Rainsong Nashville ?

If this has a neck redesign (N3?) Take my money! I've already played the JM1000 before and was surprised how comfortable it was.

Pretty rare for a Rainsong to have a pickguard as a factory feature, also. I know I've seen them on some older discontinued models, but I've not seen one in recent memory.

Not being on Facebook, I cannot see the specs. Are they using a different new neck shape? THAT would be news, welcomed by many that don't like the N2 neck profile.

No specs published yet. Just a “coming this fall” proclamation.

Not that I am a birder or anything... though my Fujifilm XT3 camera and some of my lenses can handle it... but a possible lil birdie mentioned something about some more info within next 2 weeks...
Just sayin'....

You have the XT3... I bought the X100F, largely because we wanted to avoid "lens GAS". With the X100F, there are only 2 or 3 other lenses and a lens hood, so we got those and called it complete. Everything (batteries with spares and charger, camera, lenses, manual) fits in one compact camera bag. My wife is the photographer in the family and has trouble getting around these days, so the X100F is easier for her to manage than her old Nikon D70. She has won awards and contests with her photography, but that was back in the days of film when she had her own dark room and Nikon camera bodies and lenses.

The XT3 is probably a higher end camera with a lot of nice options. Nice choice.

Back to guitars … waiting for your lil birdie to deliver.

That sunburst is definitely a decent rendition.

I might grab an X100F or Sony RX100VII... but the XT3 with a lil 23MM is pretty small, not pocket small though . I stopped at 5 lenses.. XF23mmF2 ..XF18-55 (as part of deal best kit lens out there),XF 55-200, XF 100-400, XF 80 (Red Badge) Macro ...so far.
Supposed to amazing for video as well , but haven't messed with that yet, hard to believe I know.

Got these to photo CF guitars of course.... and if a pesky model gets in the way then so be it... like here... guitar is off to her right and didnt' make the cut

Yes it is my lil buddy Bria... back from NY after doing some promo for a new CD and clothing line with a lil known singer song writer.. a certain T Swift ... in case you have heard of her..

Could that be an actual woody veneer applied on the top?
