Default Time is relative…

I was struck today by the realization that I ordered my Emerald Amicus on April 26th.

That’s only 20 days ago. Not even 3 weeks.

Surely, it’s longer than that?

For the curious, mine will have a feature which will be one of the first examples of its type ever

20 days, 20 weeks, 20 years ... it is all the same when waiting for a new guitar. But, then you knew that already.

We aim to please.

In the interest of being supportive, here comes a platitude...

I am sure the wait will be worth it.

Unfortunately, waiting for a guitar is one of those life situations for which there really isn't a "right" thing to say.

David;

Is the new feature a built in toaster?
A CD player?
A lunch bucket?

I give..
can hardly wait,,,
wait a minute, time is relative...
I guess I'll wait.

When I reflect on how long an hour lasted when I was working and now that I'm retired, there's really no comparison. Or as Thoreau wrote....

Suffice it to say that it may very well be the first of its type - unless some scoundrel beats me to it

I ordered one of the new full size Ford Broncos...

Wait is going to probably be 3 times longer than the wait for my Emerald Chimaera.

You clearly are a person of patience. Why not just order the Amicus?
