One last question - Restringing

I have finally become more comfortable changing strings on my classical guitar...just one last newbie question...does it matter how many turns of string you have on the headstock tuning post?

No, but I think it's better to have as few as possible, i.e. once your string is tied at the saddle, pull it through the tuning post's holes a sufficient length so that there is not much slack and then knot it around (at least 3 times for trebles, 2 for basses).
But I think a video works better than me trying to explain this.

A two or three loops on the wound strings is usually enough. Maybe another on the fourth string. Several loops on the unwound strings.
