Default Guitar Kit Advise

What basic tools would be required to build a guitar from a guitar kit from home?

there are a couple on there that you dont need. you could do without a dremel tool, the base, and the down spiral bit, although they are very helpful. It is amazing what can be accomplished with little to work with and determination.

Depends upon the kit.

If the kit comes with bent sides and thicknessed materials (top, back, sides, neck, fingerboard, head veneer...) you don't need half of the stuff on that list.

If you are making one, you can get by without needing a lot. If you're going to make more than one, or make one from scratch, you may wish to invest in some additional tools.

What tools you need depends in part on what methods you employ. Ask a dozen different makers and they'll give you a dozen different lists.

Yup, I think so too.

For example, I couldn't live without my Dremels for many tasks, including bridge slotting and neck heel shaping for resets while a previous poster may find this tool not that important. It's not bad, just different.

Exactly. In my case, I have other tools that take the place of a dremel. You will just have to find whatever works for you and go from there.
