Default Action Measurements

How much distance should there be between the 6th and 1st strings and the fret at the 1st and 12 frets on an acoustic electric style guitar? I've heard 1/64 on the 6th string at the first fret and 7/64 on the sixth string to 5/64 on hte 1st string at the 12th fret. Is this standard or does this vary with guitar make and model? Also is it different with nylon strings as on a Classical or Flameco style guitar?

My acoustic guitars vary from 5 to 6 64ths at the bass side measured at the 12th fret, and 4 to 5 64ths at the treble side measured at the 12th fret. The nuts are properly cut, and the relief properly set. The frets either came properly leveled or were leveled when they got here.

If I really dig in, I can provoke a buzz for any note. This is ok with me :-)

YMMV

My eyes aren't the greatest but it looks like I'm getting about 5/64 on the sixth string and 3/64 on the 1st string and I thought my strings were high? - that's measuring from top of fret to bottom of string as close as I can.
