Coming right along, Tom--looks awesome!

I'm digging the clean understated nature of this one...

Thank you Mr. Nemo, there is a story behind that,
I will gladly share with you next time we chat.
The summary I can clearly state here,
Listen to Steve and believe what you hear!

The bridge meets the guitar and looks mighty fine,
It will match both fretboard, purfling and the bind.
I think it is so pretty with all the sapwood,
I would not change it even if I could.

It has been a bit since my last update,
I threw the boys some changes, tempting my fate.
Of course they were great and Steve went to work,
Making my changes with hardly a smirk.

This headstock inlay is cut all from wood,
Dyed maple for blue, and white holly was good.
Cut by hand with a fine jewelry saw,
Inlayed with care and done without flaw!

Tom, I would only change one word, and it won’t affect the meter.
“Maple”, not “Poplar”. So:
“Dyed maple for blue, white holly was good”

Going from delicate inlay to carving a neck,
A little different chore done without misstep.
The Tx mesquite is coming along without flaw,
Soon off to Michigan for Tony's guitar spa.

Using a rasp and spokeshave to get the job done,
Steve continues to work with aplomb.
While this shaping occurs, Ryan is working,
Gluing the fret board and hopefully not twerking!!! (couldn't resist lol)

Seems few are watching, but it is looking quite fine,
Off to Tony she goes and will come back ashine!
He is the guru of the finishing world,
We go black for a while as he gives her a whirl!

Been saving up my ammunition,
So that my comments will add to this rhyming tradition,
but my admiration has destroyed my volition,
and I just have to say - amazing.

Thank you Mike, you and me too,
I hope the Mesquite darkens to a wonderful hue.

Thank you for your comment and for the excited buzz,
I agree and am excited to see what the Mesquite does.
When I have used it for projects before,
It turns a reddish brown which I adore.

Thanks guys, it’s been a fun build, and your poetry has added another layer of interest. Tom, I was ogling this top today, and found myself wishing I’d bought the entire mast supply. Or at the least, all of that board. It really looks nice, and thumps with a great degree of musical promise.

Man, that looks schweeet! And if Steve likes the thump now I'm sure the rest of us will be stunned at the finished tone!

Thumping with promise equates to sound galore,
I was wondering if you wished you had bought more.
I thank you Dennis and you can sure give it a go,
Should you come to B.I.G. III that is for your third show!
