What Guitar Would You Buy If Money and Price Was Not An Issue?
Let's say you could buy ANY guitar, no matter how expensive it is... Which guitar would you buy and why? Include pics! I'd like to see them!

I'd like to play one of those! I've played a standard D-28 that sounded good, but none of the stores I've been to have the Modern Deluxe.

The 1937 Martin OOO-45 I played at the Fretboard Summit in San Diego in 2016. It was the most magical guitar I have ever held, with a price tag of $155,000.

Since I've got a few acoustics and electrics that check most boxes for me, I've been into the idea of a 12-string guitar lately — but I'm finding it difficult to want to spend a lot of money on what's likely to be a very niche guitar for me. If someone insisted on buying an expensive guitar for me, maybe that's what I'd go with since I'd be less likely to buy that for myself than something like a Collings.
I'd probably go for a maple Guild F-512. |

I used to have a 12 string guitar and I just never played it... maybe I played it once... I gave it to my cousin.

I currently stand in the mid-range...
I would look at Santa Cruz and Collings.

Scharpach Vienna Apex - current asking price $53K TMK, several years' wait, and the only guitar on this planet for which I'd consider either option:
Sounds pretty good too:

Other than purchase something extremely valuable just for resale, I'm pretty content with what I've got and my Emerald X20-12 that's on the way...

I'm torn on this. If I pay that much for a guitar, I would be scared to actually play it. I think the sweet spot for me is a D41. Nice guitar but I won't have a seizure if it gets a ding here or there.
