Mic and Acoustic Electric Preamp Recommendation needed.
I've been out of the performing side of things for a few years, but am likely to start up again. Is there a two channel preamp designed for a mic (SM58) in one channel and an acoustic electric side where you can maybe have some modeling capabilities and minor effects (chorus/reverb) would be nice. I used to use a two channel RNP and have my guitar plugged into Lemon Aid first. That was a pretty killer tone, but a single unit that do both would be nice. Thanks!

The Boss VE-8 Acoustic Singer.
I have no experience with this unit, though I've researched it when it first came out. Looks like it has the features that you're looking for. It gets fairly good reviews here on this forum. Ask user Methos1979. |

I agree that the best preamps on the market at the moment are going to be:
ToneDexter II (it is a very, very good preamp and is now 2-chanels) Grace Design Felix 2 (top analog 2-channel preamp with high-quality components, an industry-leading preamp) Sunnaudio MS-2 (very good analog preamp with many analog options including mid/side encoding) |

Ditto. I love mine - especially in mid-side mode for a gorgeous stereo sound.
