Default inexpensive pick up

Over the winter I got a great deal on a Farida OT-62 VBS and have really been enjoying it. With a new set of Daddario EJ-16s it's sounding really good. We've got a bunch of outdoor gigs coming up and I'm considering gigging with it. Given what I paid for it I don't want to spend too much for a pickup. Any suggestions for a relatively inexpensive soundhole pickup that might work well without costing more than the guitar? Thanks in advance for any help.

A very good sounding passive soundhole pickup. The DeArmond Tone Boss.https://www.amazon.com/GUILD-DeArmon...53735535&psc=1

i had one for awhile till I went to the Baggs M1a (which is excellent)
Noledog loves his DeArmond. Search his posts, I think he has a sound sample/video of it.

Congrats on the Farida, cool guitar.

Just Google. There are lots of good ones. Get a passive.

All the big acoustic pickup makers have them — Baggs, Fishman, JJB, K&K Seymour Duncan. I used to have a Dean Markley Pro Mag that worked great.

Yep. A passive sound hole mag p/u should do the trick. If possible, find one with adjustable pole pieces. You can then balance the p/u to your string set.

Alternatively, you can just stick a stage mic' in front of the guitar! You may need a wind shield outdoors, but you will need the same for your vocal mic' anyway. As long as you are not eating the vocal mic it's pretty easy to get a stage mic' to work for guitar in balance with the vocals.

If you don’t want to drill out the end pin for a 1/4” Jack, the Seymour Duncan woody XL is a great choice.
