Default Natural guitar design

I thought I'd share my constant inspiration (New Zealand Nature) and a quick snapshop of how I sympathetically apply it to my guitars.
Enjoy!!

Christian.

Thanks Matt.
The bracing may need a little tinkering, but other than that i'm really happy with it.

Christian.

A very interesting pattern, though some areas look like they might tend to resonate excessively at specific frequencies. That can be dealt with IF it actually occurs. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Bruce,

I thought of adding further bracing, in the upper left bout, and a finger brace on the lower bout, and still might, The top material is Kahikatea which is quite different to the norm and has its own unique characteristics, which I'm working out. It's been an interesting experiment.

Cheers,

Christian.

Christian, from a non-luthier point of view (just aesthetics), it is a beautiful instrument and just looking at it makes me want to play it. Really nice work!

Thankyou Mike for your feedback, I appreciate it.
I realise its not to everyones liking but its nice to try something different, I was going for a clean elegant and simple design .

Cheers,

Christian.
