Sooooooooooo. . . you sneak back into town and have, no doubt, planned to keep this gem to yourself. Pretty darn selfish if you ask me buddy.

I know you have a certain affection for Cedar ... Soooooooooooooo perhaps you should inquire of him about a certain "yellow" guitar with a Cedar top and dead strings........

They look great with this scheme/combo.

Tim and Mary, What a wonderful guitar and this could very will be the replacement for Mahogany in the near future. Thanks for posting.

I wish I could take credit for the buttons but I must give a BIG two thumbs up to Bill Wise (Charis Guitars) because he made them for me on his CNC machine. If any of you are looking for aftermarket buttons please give Bill a call. His craftsmanship is as fine as I've seen.

Thanks Dennis. Black Limba is a wonderful tone wood and I am surprised its not used more often. It probably won't replace mahogany at our shop because I have about 3 lifetime's supply of it stashed away. I saw the hand writing on the wall about a decade ago and began stockpiling it while the supply and quality was good.

Tim, I actually did the same on the Mahogany years ago as well, But once the Mahogany hits the CITES list, the Black Limba looks good to me.
