I have experienced the joy of the first opening of the case and inspecting every little detail with absolute awe at the workmanship and beauty of the guitar and am now playing it night and day, totally inspired with the tonal qualities and new melodies that spring out from the depths of the guitar .... all in my dreams!!!

Of course I am sure this will all be reality in a few months. We are currently waiting for the body to come back from finishing though.

so my guitar is weeks from being done and the case that we ordered from Calton Cases still hasn’t shown up...it was supposed to be there in November 2010...any suggestions...I need that level of protection...

Commando raid? or maybe see how backed up Hoffee or Karura are. although I suppose a phone call or email to Calton should come first. it's worked for some people.

I guess Michael has been trying to get in touch with them for a while on my case and another one that he ordered before mine...

Hoffee is my backup just in case Calton doesn’t get back with me personally.

My builder was not successful in getting a Calton. I got involved, and was successful in getting commitments, but not the case. I gave up. Good luck.

the bindings on the box are ABW and for the headstock it is Ebony...
