I just got some more pictures that I wanted to share with you...It is so much fun to watch a craftsman at work!
I am planning on heading to his studio this week to check it out and to see one that he just completed.

I've had my Bashkin Placencia 3 years now and it just keeps getting better as it opens up. I have a 00 on order which should start soon! I'm enjoying the photos, Russ

This is another beautiful build ... thanks for sharing your symetrical fan / x-brace pattern ...I'm thinking that the x-brace on the back would result in a back plate that resonates in harmony with the top ... very cool...nice work !!!!

Just got back from seeing Michael Bashkin and got to see and hold my guitar! I found out that I will have African Blackwood as bindings, Mahogany neck, and he is thinking of Rosewood for the headstock...
If given the choice, which would you choose...Goto 510’s of Waverly’s?
