For me it would be the Martin ditson
Ugly guitar in my opinion
Anyone else feel this way about a particular guitar ?

Hmmm, I don't buy based on looks. However, no carbon fibre guitar I've ever seen, in person, print or on line, has made me look twice or consider it a "good looker".

Any cutaway. Any Seagull. Anything with a smile-shaped bridge.

Can stand the look of a sunburst. I need to see more of the real character of the wood.

Any guitar with too much "unnecessary asymmetry" (e.g. an asymmetric shape of the bridge or the headstock).

Why mention guitars and upset AGFers that might just happen to own them?

I'd take that Gibson SJ-200 Bob Dylan any day ... but I'd remove that top pick guard and have any reference to Bob immediately burned off the guitar.

If I was actively looking, anything with steel strings would get a pass from me. I have one but rarely does it get played. In the classical suite, if it doesn't have a cut or electronics it also gets a pass. Otherwise, they pretty much stick to a simple aesthetic. Cross-overs can get some appointments but usually nothing ostentatiously disqualifying.

I hate early Breedlove’s. That headstock and bridge. Send them all to me for safe disposal. Heavy sarcasm here, they are wonderful guitars

Non starters for me include any dreadnaught with a cutaway, any cutaway with a slotted headstock, and any guitar with a haphazardly installed pickguard (I know it when I see it). Heck, add any cutaway with any pickguard to the mix.

One man's meat is another man's poison. I've never been a fan of the Gibson Hummingbird's overall aesthetics, but I have several friends who just love them.

Gibson Hummingbird

On the other hand, while I wouldn't deliberately seek out a guitar with double parallelogram fingerboard inlays, if I were to encounter a Gibson Hummingbird Artist at the right price on a day when I could afford to buy it, I might:

I've played several of those Hummingbird Artists and have liked each of them. Their aesthetics are also more to my taste than the standard Hummingbird's are.

So it's all really a matter of personal preference.

Beyond perhaps the Taylor Swift Baby Taylor, probably not.

I'd take any of those Gibsons posted earlier any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
