I couldn't get used to the short scale and small body. The size is certainly small and handy but you need to adapt a bit.

A Chiquita is 27.5" long and weighs #4.25. The 19" scale is very short and yes a good deal of adaptation is required. I use pure nickle 0.13s with a wound 3rd and found tuning up to a G to be the sweet spot for me. Lots of fun with a fuzz (search Groovy Little Hippie Pad on Youtube) These are not for everyone, and can be found lightly used. Look for a recent build rather than an 80's Hondo.

so that's what I find so great with the traveler EG. it has a full 24.75" scale. They certainly use up every available square millimeter they have on that thing.
