J-200 shape does it for me, I have a pretend version
 .That & the big Guild 12 strings i.e. 412/512. But I'm happy with the dread shapes. I don't like the square shouldered Gibsons but love the look of the slope shouldered ones, especially in sunburst.. Martin dreads seem to be in between those extremes & have pretty good proportion.

I didn't bother to look to see if I responded in 2015 (Zombie threads are making a comeback today
), but I love my deep body grand concert cutaway (Venetian) and have for years. I recently took delivery of a slightly scaled down slope shoulder dread with no cutaway and I love that shape. So, I have 2 favorites. Over the years I have also come to love the variety of sharp cutaway shapes that luthiers are using.Best, Jayne |
