But, Dale inscribed your name with a Sharpie. So, it's likely to remain yours.

That’s true. I’m disappointed with the neck profile.

Special, indeed. Dale only does this for the few select clients who, uh, pay in cash, up front, and in small, unmarked bills.

The little flourish on the N and the right angle at the bottom of the J (instead of the more traditional curve) were two design details that Dale and I worked on for weeks. I'm really pleased with how it came out.

Also, notice how it's labeled "14 fret" on the side using pencil instead of Sharpie. Another subtle touch.

Perfect, once those details are pointed out it is hard not to see them, excellent. I also really like the parallel graphite inlays at the heel. Sweet. This is shaping up to be a beaut!

Few know that Dale studied calligraphy at Berklee. His clients wish that he'd studied lutherie. You'll soon know why. (Dale really did graduate from Berklee, majoring in I don't know what. But, he's also one of the finest blues and ragtime guitar players on the planet. He can play anything that Paul Geremia ever played. He's an astonishing musician.)

Yeah, because it could turn out to be 12, 13, 14, 12.9801223, 13.276785, or whatever.
