Default NGD: Heinonen SJ Cedar/Brazilian #56

Good evening,

I had reach out to Drew in early 2020 asking his build schedule, he had one slot left he would hold for me so the deposit was made in fall of that year to start the build in 2021.

I received the SJ right before Christmas, Super excited to start playing more again as this brings a lot of inspiration. I'll include a quick demo with its test drive. More playing to come throughout the year. Enjoy everyone!

The Mics are bright in this recording. =)

Gorgeous! I have a SJ from either Heinonen or Applegate on my bucket list.
Enjoy!

Very nice! A cedar SJ is one of the few things left on my acoustic list.

That is a lovely guitar! Congratulations, it’s exciting to get a guitar that special. I have Drew’s OM that’s a few years old and it has the slinkiest (ie easiest) feeling and playing neck and fingerboard of any guitar I have ever played. He’s also so humble and has the patience of a saint.

Beautiful craftsmanship, and very versatile sound. Love the overtones with the fingerpicking! Enjoy for a long time in good health…

Hi Doug, Thank you! very kind words. This one is just as special as the OM I purchased from you. I have to say I miss that one with Adirondack top it had a lot of sparkle to it, this one is opening up more as I play it.
Take Care.

Is that OM the one he had on his website available last year? it looked stunning. I had owned one of his OM's that was equally a special instrument but couldn't have them both Thanks for your kind comment.
