Default Martin SC-13E Tuner slow to respond

My internal electronic tuner on my Martin Sc-13e that I bought a couple of years ago is suddenly very slow to respond especially with the treble strings. Needle just lays flat and then finally moves. Battery was changed about a week a go with no issues. Now all of a sudden this.

Thoughts? Anybody have this happen?

I have no issues tuning by other means, but it's kind of nice having it right in the sound hole.

I tested the new battery just in case it was as dud and it tests fine.

Turns out my Martin tuner is still under warrantee so it's covered. I'm waiting for a call back hoping Sweetwater can change it out while I wait or within a few hours while the wife and I ship and possibly see a movie in Ft. Wayne Indiana. I live about an hour away and don't want to make a second trip.

OTOH Sweetwater says they can ship it to me if they have to free of charge.

Man that place has been so good to me! I just wish they were closer!

I just bought this guitar .I haven't had a chance to even play it yet! It came to me with the action a little high ,so I took it to two diferent guitar techs who made it even worse. Now it is at another guitar tech, hopefully he can do a better job. But the tuner does seem slow , I'll proably use my Snark anyway

I guess you didn't give them the official chant first "Relief, nut, saddle", "Relief, nut, saddle"

Clueless.

Good luck, I hope after the third setup it'll be good for you.

These guitars are different;

Nut

not sure how you adjust the truss rod

Unbolt neck and change shims until you get it right.

O.K. this is weird. Today it's working fine. Go figure. What could have changed? Same battery which I even tested to be fine.

They are a little slow but this time the needle was laying flat and refused to respond immediately.

I had a SC13E, one of the first available. I loved it and if I was plugging in a lot would have kept it.

But the tuner was hopeless. Annoyingly slow response and outright useless where there was background boise.
