Yes, thanks for sharing! I've heard a handful of Jansch's and Pentangle's songs, but being American and a Gen Xer, this little gem of a music scene wasn't on my radar. And it was interesting to learn how much impact it had on the American folk/pop scene.

It was also another reminder for those guitar snobs among us (guilty as charged here) that as with James Taylor, so many of the acoustic legends were playing extremely unfancy guitars through the 1980's, Yamahas among others...

Many thanks for posting this. I knew he was considered an outstanding acoustic guitarist, but i hadn't listened to him closely -- just casually in his work with Pentangle, where i didn't distinguish him from John Renbourne. Superb voice as well! Some other really outstanding players in that video as well.

Classic. My reissue DVD from a few years back doesn't want to spin anymore! Glad there is somewhere to watch it! Bert, John, Hammish, Archie, Anne, et al, all in place for this project.

Agreed. 'Jack Orion'- the song, and that whole disc, really- is about as soulful as music gets.
