I went to see Tommy Emmanuel and Ricky Skaggs play.
When Tommy Emmanuel gets going he's very "lively" and one of the guitars he wanted to use was out of tune. So he had to take a short break and while he was tuning it said, "Well, I don't know what happened, it was in tune when I bought it." I thought that was funny.

How come you play jazz.??
Oh man, you know, I don't like crowds.! Doyle Dykes said, He was playing some place last night and these two gangster looking guys came in wearing trench coats and what looked like instrument cases, they came up front laid them on the floor and took out machine guns. He said, Thank God, I thought it was banjos at first.!
