Waverly 3 on plate slot head tuners

Waverly makes 3 on a plate brass $234. They do not make Nickel.

They make Golden Age Restoration tuners in Nickel for $86.

Are they the same quality tuners.

( I need Nickel tuners ).

Waverly tuners are made by Stewart MacDonald in their own shop, whereas Golden Age ones are made on contract and imported from Asia. They are not the same mechanically and parts do not interchange.

Waverly tuners are considered "top of the line." The Golden Age tuners are fine machines and are a bit more forgiving of any misalignment in installation.
