Default “Going Home To Catoctin” an original

https://youtu.be/wOIZA7Cgh6s

Here’s a song of mine I wrote about 6 years ago and finally got around to recording. I used a 2019 HD-35, a fender banjo, and an old Bestler mandolin.

Very nice all the way around. I'd prefer the vocals be a little louder (or the instruments softer). The "band" over powers the singers somewhat. But all elements are very nice.

You know, you’re not the only person I’ve heard that from. It’s weird because when I listen on my headphones, and when I was recording, the vocals seemed overpowering. Thanks for the feedback! I’m gonna have to tweak it a bit.

Phil, that is a great song. Seriously good. I'm adding it to a playlist. Liked the mix a lot, too.

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ve been really trying to get better at mixing.
