Default "When You Wish Upon A Star"

Several years ago I did an arrangement of "When You Wish Upon A Star" for my son when he started getting into playing guitar. He did good with it. Later I jazzed it up a bit. This is one of my early versions of that.

Derek,

Wow, that was really well done! I loved the arrangement and the liberties you took with the melody and the harmonic structure. That's quite a piece for a beginning guitar student to go after! How wonderful that your son was able to do well with this!

Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks Glenn. Actually this recording is my version. The tab I wrote out for my son was less involved and easier to play. That said since then he
has on his own arranged and played pretty challenging music (mostly tunes he has heard on video games).

Hi Derek,

Yes, I did understand that was your version and you actually playing. It was beautifully done, as always! Excellent composition, excellent recording, and very well played!

Beautiful as always Derek! I remember when you started teaching your son a few years ago. No surprise that he is already arranging his own music, he couldn't find a better teacher.

If he likes video game tunes he may like this young man from (i believe ) Poland.

Very pretty!

(Not that you asked, but a little reverb might give it a feel of a larger space )
