Default My cover of "Bread of Angels" by Stanton Lanier, plus an original tune

Here are two pieces from my newest album. I'm also a church organist / pianist and so really like Stanton's scripture-based piano compositions. I adapted this for guitar.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kjVe6JuCxY

Tuning is: E B F# E B E (capo on 4...so in key of Ab) Multi-tracked guitar and vocal background parts

This one's a rather 'spacey' sounding piece called "Searching the Infinite"..
done in E A G# E A D...

The album these are from is primarily my arrangements of contemporary Christian pieces - and so is intended to be somewhat meditative in style

Glenn...wow! I'm so appreciative of not just your kind words but also for taking the time to check out my youtube channel. I never cease to be astounded at how my music has spanned the globe to six continents. Being a church organist / pianist, as is quite obvious I've channeled a good amount of my guitar efforts into creating arrangements of Christian music or else music that was inspired by scripture. Glad you took the time to listen to "His eyes..." especially if you made it all the way through!!! I tend to go on a bit long in some of my compositions. Many thanks....

Nice job and thanks for sharing. Reverb can be played with to get more reverb on the higher pitched notes and less on the lower pitched notes.

Thanks for listening. Interesting comment on the reverb. I'm playing through an M-Audio and using the digital reverb controls on Garageband, so not sure how one would attain the level of reverb control you refer to short of just messing with the EQ bands. I'm undoubtedly guilty of using too much reverb. Every album I've done I always promise myself...next one is going to be moreso just pure guitar sound, less effects, but then likely wind up going a bit too much on the chorus, reverb, etc. Recording from now on will be with my new Froggy rather than the old (and I do mean old) Epiphone. The Froggy has a K&K pick-up so will undoubtedly require a bit different setting.
