Michael,

I actually stumbled on these videos on YouTube before your post here... Great to see you putting up vids again! It was my desire to learn more about Somogyi that led me to your amazing build thread here with the "Tree" guitar the Jason built for you, and subsequently the MDW...

All the best

Really beautiful playing, and what a guitar!

Thank you Louie! I’m glad you enjoyed the videos.

I loved writing that thread and both Jason and I were staggered by the response it got. I feel the same sense of excitement and inspiration about these guitars to this day. I have a writing session on the MDW this afternoon. A new melody came to me as I was walking home. I recorded it (sung it into my phone) and I’m looking forward to exploring the possibilities later.

You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's fair to say that this guitar suits me more than any other I have ever played, and I've played a lot!

Thank you! Yes it's true, every aspect of this instrument was considered in depth with nothing left to chance. Jason Kostal made me an exquisite guitar and I have have enjoyed playing it every single day since! I am launching the series finale of Luthier Stories tomorrow which features Jason, look out for it on my YouTube channel!
