We did it!! We finished just in time to take this baby to Memphis, and couldn't be happier with the results. The figuring in both the Mahogany and Sitka are both really beautiful under finish, and tying it all together with the Cocobolo fingerboard and bridge really just makes the warm colors pop! And it has a beautiful tone, to boot! Now to see what kind of reception we get in Memphis I hope I get to meet some of you there!

The photos do not do this top justice, when I put it under the photo lights the quilted figuring just glowed!




I adore the Cocobolo fingerboard!


And our back inlay...


The Purple Heart "C" is a beautiful contrast to the Cocobolo, balancing out the orange colors.


The figuring in the cocobolo fingerboard looks really cool from the side. (And you can also see the Purple Heart side markers)


I am so happy with how this rosette turned out under finish!
