Hi Daniel,

There is one cleaner/polish that I strongly recommend: Meguiar's Show Car Glaze #7. It's an automotive polish. It does not contain any silicates, doesn't leave a residue, and will not cause any problems if at any time you need refinish work done. Plus it works really well.
The finger board oil I use is the one from LMI. I don't know if it's better or worse than others. I never had any trouble with it so I haven't experimented around.

Just had to...yes, had to...resurrect this build thread...I often go through it to see the magnificent artwork Mark infused into this incredibly beautiful guitar...

This was my first "tree" guitar and you can bet I really sweated out bending those sides! Luckily I got good advice from other luthiers who had worked with it and am not so nervous about starting my August tree.

It's nice to know that these older threads are still getting attention.
