There is one cleaner/polish that I strongly recommend: Meguiar's Show Car Glaze #7. It's an automotive polish. It does not contain any silicates, doesn't leave a residue, and will not cause any problems if at any time you need refinish work done. Plus it works really well. The finger board oil I use is the one from LMI. I don't know if it's better or worse than others. I never had any trouble with it so I haven't experimented around. Mark
