D'Addario Gypsy Jazz strings EJ83M
So, became interested in these while watching a Buddy Miller rig rundown...
Came here and did a search and saw a few raves. I think I'm going to try them, but... I always use 12s. Nanowebs or Sunbeams. I'm concerned the 11s might not have enough tension? Not just for playability but also might have to adjust the truss rod? For those of you playing these- the 11s specifically- did you come from 12s?

Well, you have typically longer scale (670 mm) on Selmer style guitars, right?

No idea. But Buddy Miller puts 'em on regular ol' acoustics.... He didn't identify them by name, he says "they look like electric guitar strings (silver, I assume) but they're acoustic" I went to D'Addario's site, and that looks like they are likely the Gypsy Jazz strings, from what I can tell...? Here's the video ... you'll have to FFWD to 30:00 AND FOR SOME REASON THE FORUM WON'T IMBED IT, so here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EooxUCzV20
