Default My Nowland

Hi, my used Nowland arrived few days ago.
Great instrument, small body (not so small), beautiful woods, excellent hand crafted guitar.
Mahogany top, EIR back and side, brazilian rosewood bridge fingerboard and headstock, walnut binding, wide cutaway, soundport, gold and abalone fretbord markers, no electronics. I replaced tuners with Gotoh 510.
Made for fingerpicking and moderate strumming. I like very much the strumming...you can ear each string clearly siniging. Basses are enough strong, the neck is very similiar to Taylor, but a little bit thinner.
Here's some picts just to share with you.
Greetings from Rome
Eddie

It is a nice looking instrument. What is the brass bar below the saddle and what is the thing on the top of the back of the gutiar? Is that something to do with the neck?

From the Nowland web site:

"Nowland Guitars feature a very strong and stable neck joint. It's easily adjustable for both angle and height above the guitar's top giving the musician important set-up and tonal options.

A double saddle bridge designed to utilize a presaddle close to the bridge pins to support the strings properly at an optimal angle and to provide unique additional string energy transfer through the bridge. This presaddle can also be changed out with various materials for further tonal options."

I like the method he employed to widen the headstock.
(The extra maple/black "spacers" that match the center lam.)
Handsome!

That is gorgeous. Do you have any soundclips?

If I like the sound, I might save up to get one commissioned.
