Default Chair for watching bandstand music

We have a weekly outdoors music concert in our town, lasts about 1 1/2 hours, but am ready to leave after a half hour because our folding chairs are so uncomfortable, any favorite folding chairs? Was thinking of a couch with big wheels but spouse needs to approve.

My wife and I use Shakespeare camp chairs - the ones that collapse into a shoulder bag and have the beer-can holder in the arm - and since it's a "sling" design in principle (no pressure points or sagging) we've never had a problem sitting through an 8-hour day at the drag races; make sure you buy good ones, though - the cheap MIC nylon chairs aren't built as sturdily, don't offer much support, and don't hold up over the long haul...

I just like the regular ol' camping chairs, particularly, the oversized ones.

My sister in law found a bunch of "Tommy Bahama" backpack chairs at Costco for a very reasonable price. We like their adjustability (You can lean back to stargaze of watch fireworks) and when the fold up, they have closing straps (with clips) and shoulder harnesses. Lots of pockets and pouches too.

For me, I found that folding lawn chairs with a front support bar and those 'backpack' chairs get uncomfortable after 20 minutes. After half an hour in one of those backpack chairs my back is killing me when I get up.
A regular metal folding chair is more comfortable for a short time longer, but my favorite is a padded chair with no front support, I've got 2 of them, I think from Walmart or Kmart, but I can't find them online right now. They fold up like regular folding web chairs. The folding 'director' chairs are ok, but don't fold up very small.

I would suggest checking out the chairs at your nearby REI store. REI has a great return policy and they stand behind what the sell. We have a pair of chairs we purchased 9 years ago with lumbar support. The support makes all the difference. They have shoulder straps for carrying and are light weight.

Be careful, as some outdoor concerts as you to bring low, beach style, chairs. You'll draw a big reaction if you plop down on a full height chair. If you decide that's for you, just park yourself along the back or side to avoid blocking someone's view. Good luck. We have a couple of beach chairs from Hobie. They are similar to the Tommy Bahama style.
