Default Friend/Student Reso.

My friend , Jeremy Ward, Curator, Canadian Canoe Museum here In Peterborough ON just finished this biscuit bridge reso. This is his second guitar he has built with me. Takes a long time when he only gets 1 evening a week to work on it .
The body is old growth yellow birch, cherry neck, Gotoh open back tuners, ziricote tail piece, FB, PH overlay, binding.
Jeremy made the cover plate from recycled copper flashing from the old back building a the C C Museum. Looking at the copper, he wondered what he could use it for, and thought "Why not a reso cover plate?" This is the end result of that thought. Truss rod cover to come soon, for anyone who noticed
I had never heard a wood body biscuit bridge guitar before, but always thought it would sound good, and was right. Great tone, and LOUD. LOL
Inspired me to build one too. Will Post pics soon.
Well done my friend!!! Russ Parker
