Emerald X20 and X30 Gig Pics * Brief Report with Video
My Duo partner and I had a show last night at Loew's Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Az. This was the first demo of our Emerald guitars together in the duo format. It was super cool. Ironically, the star of the show sonically (for both of us was the X30!) Go figure. For the record, I also brought my Collings D1 Traditional and it sounded great too. The X30 however was just wonderful not to mention I do take advantage of the cutaway for upper register access
Our backline consists of a pair of Bose L1 Pro 8's, Bose S1 Pro (used as a floor monitor) and Bose T4S mixer. Here are a couple of video's with my partner on his X20.

Hey Ken. Oh my goodness what a difference a real gig demo makes. Yes, the X30 is a keeper. It actually outperforms the X20 in some ways. Yet the X20 has its charm as well. Ironically, after all I said earlier, the X30 actually worked better for me on my Duo gig. It may be the better "all-arounder" for what "I" do.
