I'm in the "the one that I'm enjoying playing in the moment" camp a lot of the time.
Still, my worn old Seagull Folk is likely the one that I've felt that way about the most often. Light weight, wide and thick big ol'neck, and that classic Godin Wild Cherry/Cedar recipe. No pictures, but then it started out plain looking and it is now quite worn from its years making its player feel good.

As said by others, it is the one in my lap.
In a fire I would grab the Aria A-560 classical. After 50 years it is a trusted friend, and it sounds great. I play the most: 2003 Tacoma Orpheum OM -26 a little deeper body auditorium that gives a little more bass Best guitar: 1998 Taylor 414 Campfire guitar: 1960s Harmony Broadway arch-top. Too beat up to worry about hurting it more. Great to have for certain occasions IMG_6309.jpgIMG_1492.jpgIMG_1487.jpgIMG_3999.jpgIMG_4004.jpg |

Here are a couple pictures of my favorite. A custom Taylor GS. Bearclaw top, Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides. Koa and ebony on the rosette and binding (ebony arm bezel), with boxwood added in the fretboard. A beauty and the best sounding. Love it. Pretty spoiled - I have 3 favorites.
All have their own extremely pleasant voices!

Definitely my Taylor Leo Kottke 12 and 6.
Both have a beautiful low deep tone but the 12 rumbles as it is tuned to C and strung 13-56. |
