Default I Tried To Tell This Seller ..

Saw this listing on ebay for an Epiphone EJ-200.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EPIPHONE...4079%7Ciid%3A1

Sent the seller a message, "Hi, that's not a vintage sunburst, it's a natural finish".

Seller replied I need my eyes tested.

What do you think?

To be fair, the guitar is on sale from UK. We don't know what the sun looks like.

I stay away from eBay, but sometimes when I see an instrument mislabeled on the Anchorage Craigslist I’ll send an email and mention it. About half the time I never get a reply, but sometimes folks are genuinely grateful for the guidance.

One the most common mistakes I have seen is people advertising a “Made in USA Remo banjo.” Remo, of course, makes the banjo heads, not the banjos themselves. Remo has recently changed their logo; now it says something like “REMO banjo head Made In USA.”

Anyway, lots of people don’t know what they have that they’re trying to sell, and many of them get truly annoyed when given the correct information.

Default Not just any "Vintage Sunburst"

LOL..... Looking at the listing under the Description they actually say "in glorious vintage sunburst". I guess "glorious" sunburst is harder to see.

I just messaged the seller too. Maybe if 10 to 20 people tell him it's not a burst he'll figure it out... Then again, maybe not

Nah, It's just a bad picture. The sun burst it, that's all.
