Default (Sold) Beneteau Model M

• **Thanks AGF for your help a valued input!**
Selling my 2014 Beneteau Model M. Excellent condition (I'd say mint condition, but that is too subjective a term). But it is like new. I have not been playing guitar for the past year, and after long consideration realize it is time to let someone else enjoy it. I can't find a significant mark on it. Black Canadian Hardshell case is pristine. Bought the guitar new from Kenn Fox at Paramount Guitars. Here is a link to the actual guitar and some sound clips: http://paramountguitars.net/gtr/BeneteauMre.htm The sound has been described as "thunderous with very cello-like bass, crisp punchy mids, and crystal clear trebles." Please listen to the clips and see if you agree.
• Marc describes his M model: "The best way to describe my "M" model is to say that it is the same shape as my 0M but enlarged to a full 16" width giving it an expanded bass response. Like the Mini Jumbo and Concert Standard, this model offers another choice in a full sized guitar suitable for fingerstyle playing or full strumming." http://www.beneteauguitars.com/new-index-2#/m-model
If you are not familiar with Marc Beneteau's guitars, please search the forum and the web to get an iidea of how wonderful Marc's guitars are.

Non-smoking home. Never gigged.

• This is a "like new" guitar for a used price. Marc Beneteau recently raised his prices, and this one built today would approach $7500.

• Probably the best guitar I have owned, and I will miss it greatly, but lifestyles change. Please PM me if you have questions.

• I have sold quite a few guitars on the forum, and all were happy with the transaction. Thanks for looking

I feel like I'm the crazed 'Beneteau guy' on this forum, having owned and commissioned a few, so I'll just say this: this is a TON of guitar for the price!!! My first Model M was $5500 from Guitargal and I thought it was worth every penny.

My introduction to Marc's guitars was actually a model M and the tight waist makes it extremely comfortable (not to mention if you have a bevel). The tone of the M is equally a flat-picker's and fingerstylist's dream. So clear. I wish I had funds to buy this...but someone will be very, very happy. This actually looks a lot like the Model M he built Tony McManus.

My old one was carpathian/ebony, so different in tone, but still had Marc's superior clarity:

Thank goodness most guitars are 1 3/4 with a narrow saddle, eh?
I think we'd both be broke otherwise!

Thanks for all of the positive feedback. In a previous post, Paul asked about the neck profile. Any Beneteau guru's care to give their opinion? It is a shallow "C" with a radius of about 15" Marc's guitars are known for their playability and this one is no exception.

Marc’s standard neck profile is essentially a shallow C. Pretty much perfect in my opinion. It’s been remarkably consistant out of the 5 I’ve had over the past few years ranging from 2008-2018. If this was through Paramount Ken probably just had him keep it standard. I’m pretty sure Ken owns a Model M himself in adirondack/Honduran as well!

Again, I’m the crazy Beneteau guy....lol. Glad to help provide info so this beauty finds a home!

Smile Beneteau M

What an awesome guitar and even a better deal !!! This is going to sell fast.

I love the sound of my Beneteau CS in Englemann and Brazilian. It is dynamic, resonant and woody. Mine is perfect for fingerstyle in dropped tunings.

I'll just chime in as a (sadly) former Beneteau guitar owner that Marc's workmanship is exquisite and so are his guitars. Very lively, very responsive and very balanced. They're just deeply MUSICAL musical instruments, redundant as that might sound.

This is a great price on a fine guitar, and hopefully someone reading this will put together the funds and buy it soon.
