BWV 988 Aria
Hi everyone,
I haven't had a Classical video to put up in a while but here's a new one I just finished. I hope you enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPoNVo-CA_g Thanks Chris |

Wonderful playing! Are you the author of the guitar adaptation?

Thanks Vyse. I listened to people like Gould and others perform it on the piano and then transcribed it to the guitar by dropping the upper voice down an octave.

Fantastic! I love the totally different voice you got out of your guitar on this one.

Wonderful playing.
What stood out to me in this particular performance was the melody voice line in the bass and how especially crucial it is to projecting the overall feel and emotional content of the music. That's a good guitar lesson right there about the ingredients that make this music so special. You make it look easy Chris, but I know it takes a talented touch like yours to make it happen. Great stuff!
