I just trimmed down my main pedal board and mounted the Play Acoustic so it isn't loose:

OM-28e MD with Fishman VT Aura -> Sonic Research mini tuner -> Wampler Ego -> Strymon El Capistan -> Play Acoustic -> EV 30M or Udo De Capo or K8/K10 depending on the size/nature of the gig. SunnAudio Stage2-DI is separate and on batteries if need be (OM-21 w/K&K prefers that).

Separate pedal board has Keeley Dark Side, Cog Route 66, EHX Canyons, Source Audio C4, and I have TC Impulse and Ditto/Ditto+ that I can use if needed.

For solo acoustic gigs (I have 2 to 5 a month until the end of the year so far), I take 2 guitars:

Yamaha CJX32 that has an onboard system 41 preamp that has an internal condenser mic on it and connects to a Baggs element UST (it came with a ribbon transducer but I switched to the element when the former got a shielding failure/ground hum). Then on the second output jack there's a MiSi MagPi. I run the mag with the tone control on it rolled all the way off or thereabouts and the system 41 at as much internal mic level as I can get away with. Both pickup outputs go direct to a channel each on an old Mackie desk I've had for years.

My other guitar is an Avalon L32 with a K&K mini that runs into a custom end jack preamp made for me years ago by MiSi. That goes straight to the aforementioned desk. Then on the other output there's a Sunrise magnetic pickup. This goes into an Orange preamp and out of that as an XLR to the desk, then out of the jack output into a volume pedal and then into 100w Fender Twin Amp (not a Twin Reverb, a different model) with 2x12 celestions. I can swell the amp in or control how much of that I have in the mix. That thing goes LOUD and stays clean all the way up to any levels I could use. It's on caster wheels and if you hit a big open chord with the volume up it will actually propel itself somewhat!

Vocals are via a Shure Beta58 (much better for my voice than the SM58) straight into the desk.

Then out of the desk I run into two JBL Eon powered speakers on poles that I've also owned for donkey's years.

Martin 000-18 or Taylor 322Ce into Korg Pitchblack tuner, a Hall of Fame Reverb set to Plate, maybe a Boss CE5 Chorus if the set lists calls for it, into a Rivera Sedona 55 w/Palmer PDI09 direct box out to FOH

All my guitars have K&K mini’s in them.

So, it’s Guitar—>K&K mini—>Tonedexter with wave map for the specific guitar —>Venue’s PA or Loudbox mini or Fishman 220 depending on the size of the venue.

As an aside, I bought a used Gibson that had an Amulet in it and I did an A&B with K&K’s and took out the Amulet because of the battery, the weight and all the wires and electronics required. K&K’s are much simpler to deal with and sound as good through a Tonedexter to my ear. But really, I think the Tonedexter is the key element here.

I do 3-5 shows a week solo/duo acoustic. My signal chain, after much tweaking to find my sound, goes...

Standard guitar - Martin OOCXE
Eb guitar - Ibanez APX500

into HX Stomp (controlled by Morningstar MC6II)
to Boss RC500
Loop out to mixer
guitar signal out to TC Play Acoustic
TC guitar out to mixer
TC vocals out to mixer
Beatbuddy drum pedal to mixer
Beatbuddy and RC500 sync'd via midi

Mixer is Behringer Flow 8 (An amazing little device).
All wired and mounted to my Pedaltrain Novo 32 board. Single xlr out to an EV50.

Before COVID hit and killed my acoustic live gigs, my chain was this:

Dreadnaught w/K&K > either FISHMAN MINI or FISHMAN LOUDBOX amp.

Any one of the four guitars in my signature plus my vocal mic (Senn e945) both running direct into my Loudbox Performer.
Simple, great sound. No pedals, tracks or loopers, just two hands and my pipes!!

Curious why you are running an HX Stomp AND the Play Acoustic? I just pared down from the Stomp to the Play Acoustic and love the sound and ease of plug an play.

Until November of last year when my guitar was the only instrument supporting my church choir, my live sound rig was:
Guiter > Boss TU3 > Boss AD10 > Baggs Align Reverb > house PA

Since I've joined a new choir in my now hometown where I'm one of 3 guitars, my live sound rig is:
Guitar > Fishman Loudbox Mini > house PA via Mini XLR out.

I think I may sell off my Boss AD10, Align Reveb, and Pedaltrain Metro 16 board since I no longer use them and really have no need for them.

AGF Classifieds here I come!

Best,
PJ
