Default Collings 0001G

Through lots of trading I have fallen on two amazing and very close Collings guitars and really have no reason to hold on to both. So looking to sell or trade my 2008 Collings 0001G. Condition is excellent, two tiny marks I found on the back of the headstock and on the side bout. Has a LR Baggs pickup installed. Beautiful instrument with a huge gorgeous tone.
Asking Sold now I have two gorgeous 0002h I have to pick between. Good problems.

Hi;
Nice looking 0001G. Does it have the standard 1-13/16" nut & 2-5/16" bridge spacing?
Thanks;
Rudy

All standard other than the top and the pickup. I can request a spec sheet to verify if needed. I am not the original owner.

Confused. Collings "standard" 000s often have 1 3/4" at the nut with a narrower string spacing and a somewhat slim neck shape overall.
Are you certain of the measurements you quoted?
Thanks, Ce.

Here are the specs off their site. Just over 1 3/4 on these models. My new favorite.

Hey_Day is correct. Collings 000s come standard with a 1 13/16 nut. I also have one. Their OMs have a narrower nut but those are standard 1 11/16.

TO be honest I was never aware of it before getting the 000. Much to my surprise that tiny bit more is fantastic. Easily my new favorite neck size, would gladly have these necks on all my guitars.

That’s a beautiful piece of German spruce!
Since you mention trades in the title and seem to be a trade maker, do you have anything general or specific you’re interested in? Acoustic flat tops only, or a wider spectrum (eg electrics, amps, mandos etc)? Thx.

Really only flat top acoustics. Like boutique builders or vintage. Looking at things like Santa Cruz, other collings, bourgeois or anything in that same realm of guitars. Willing to listen to anything though.

That’s a useful narrowing, thanks. Are you mostly a flatpicker, fingerstyle guy, strummer, “all 3”?
