Martin 1928 00-21
Well, it’s time to move this beautiful vintage Martin which I’ve had a few years....I bought this from a good friend who originally bought the guitar from Lowe Vintage in Burlington, North Carolina....
I’m just not playing her much and she needs to go to a new home.... The guitar is CRACK FREE and has been always kept properly humidified.....always in the case during the winter months.... The guitar’s neck has been refinished at some point in time and there is some overspray on the body....Brazilian rosewood back and sides and a lovely Spruce top.... I’ll post more pictures in the next day or so.... Action is perfect for fingerstyle and there is plenty of saddle for adjustment.... She sounds amazing and is light as a feather....I’ve been exclusively using lights on her (12/53) and she is super easy to play... Comes with a non original hard shell case.... Looking for $8,000 shipped to the Continental US only....not interested in trades.... This is a great Pre War Martin with Brazilian rosewood..... I have it’s sister .. 1928 0-18 .. in similar condition.
But mine has a couple of repaired side cracks. My Grandmother bought ours new in Los Angeles (or Long Beach) California. I enjoyed looking at the pictures here, seeing one so well cared for. Same tuners, so it makes me wonder if they were in Nazareth together, perhaps touched by the same craftsmen? Good luck with this transaction.
