I do, sometimes. What I don't buy any more are records! or CDs, whatever. I don't even buy downloads. I don't even play the CDs or vinyl I've got - it's much quicker to find anything I want on youtube or spotify than to get out a CD or a record (blow the dust off) and put it on the hi-fi.

A wonderful resource! WARNING!!! NOT AN EASY READ!!!
NOT AT ALL! ...(You might even need coffee and Ibuprofen!)
My hard copy (paper and ink) Beatles reference is this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Songwriting...dp/0711981671/

Makes a great companion to Pollack - if only because he has an appendix which works as a beginner guide to music theory, to let you in on all the jargon.
Otherwise his approach is usefully opposite to Pollack. Pollack starts from the songs (and goes through every one). Pedler starts from the theory principles (all the ones you might need) and then shows a few Beatles songs that illustrate each one.
