Can the electronics version have the Fishman Prefix Plus T onboard preamp instead of the Fishman Stereo Blender onboard preamp?

Aarghh!

Just the perfect amount of Zoot that the Shorty needed!

I was about to pull the trigger on a CA GXi, but now will have to reconsider...

What's the issue with the blender? I believe Rainsong uses only the Plus T on their guitars... is this for cost reasons? Or does it simply sound better?

Ted: Any chance of putting it in a gig bag to bring the price and weight down? For that matter, can you provide prices at different levels: FT/gloss and w/wo electronics. Some of us had to pay taxes this year....

You can have gloss or FT with or without electronics but all will be in a hard shell case.

FINALLY! Been waiting for ages for you to take the plunge, it came down to the Shorty after all (so the dressed up version pushed you over the edge, not to mention, Ted is also a champion).

Congrats! Pictures please when you get it.

Ted...

Your LTD with the red rosette looks so amazing... and nothing out there like it.

Is there no possibility to do something like that on the Shorty (same color or another makes no difference to me)? Now, understanding that you have more insight on this than anyone else... is there a minus when doing a colored rosette?

I'm in, too - gloss, no electronics.

I drove over an hour to a store to check out a Shorty and was blown away. I was able to A/B it against a spruce and rosewood Taylor 12 fret and actually preferred the tone and playability of the Shorty. I still want a Taylor because they are exquisite works of art (IMO), but the Shorty feels like the one for the long haul.

I can barely wait!
