Congratulations, RP! Love it when a plan comes together ... such a beautiful guitar!

All the best with it ...

Thanks Paul. You may be close enough to play it sometime especially given your screen name...

Fair enough!

... but to be clear, that name is a statement of aspiration rather than accomplishment ...

RP,

You are now a number of months in with your stunning matte finish X30. Any changes to the finish or any comments/updates you can otherwise provide?

I am getting closer to an order and matte is high on my wish list.

I'm still loving it, and my X20-12 that's on order will also have a satin finish. That probably says it all....

That’s a stunning instrument. Congratulations!

My X30 acquisition allows me to confirm everything the OP is reporting about the guitar. They are amazing instruments and from the first chord you know you’re experiencing something unique.

RP, what a stunner! The matte finish makes the guitar seem more organic to me and is perfect for your Emerald. It was only five months ago when I unboxed my first Emerald. I know this isn't your first but I imagine the feeling never changes.

Play and enjoy it in good health!

Default Just down the road

I’ve a 30-12. Bucket list to hook up when the virus is over before I’m too old.

Would love to see and play it. I'll meet you at the beach when this thing is over. PS- I'm already too old, but that doesn't seem to matter much...
