Recommendations on custom Brazilian rosewood bridge pins?
I'm looking for someone to make custom Brazilian rosewood bridgepins. Does anyone have any recommendations on anyone who can do this custom work?

Hey Eric, you could try Bob Colosi, at https://www.guitarsaddles.com/
He usually works with bone and fossilized ivory, but you could ask. And/or Burton Legeyt, who has made custom pins for me on several occasions. Both do excellent work, though you might need to send them the wood for your project. Steve |

+1 on Bob Colosi. I’ve also received quality pins from https://custominlay.com and they do have wood pins (Persimmon) but as Steve notes, you may have to supply the raw material. You might post interest in BRW scraps from luthiers in the Custom Shop forum. I suspect very little goes unused (small bits used for head plates, trim etc) but pins wouldn’t take much. Good luck, can’t say I’ve seen BRW pins in the wild.
