Well, I got that one WRONG...
Who knew someone would put a photo of a damaged guitar top on a perfectly good, unsuspecting, and undamaged NEW guitar top?

Yes I also don't like that they're offering a "satin" version of the D-18 either. As a D-16GT owner with satin actual mahogany back and sides and a gloss spruce top which I distressed myself over the past decade I'm not tempted to "trade up" whatsoever. The only thing that would sway me is if it had an Adi top.
