Default Electric guitar forum?

Is anyone aware of a forum like the TGF oriented towards electric guitars? I haven't found any with the "brotherhood" feel the TGF offers.

Any direction is appreciated.

Regards,

Bret

Try this..

Fender Forum

As for the "brotherhood" feel I'm not too sure because I haven't been there much but it's worth a shot.

Having been a member of the FDP (Fender Forum) for many years, I can vouch for the fact that it's very much a family like the TGF...I've always felt a little like the black sheep of the family over there ...but it's a cool place to hang out anyway!

Lots of good info available, and lots of nice folks!

...and while I'm at it, welcome to the forum, guys!!

Rick

I follow the Guild section of the fender forum. Frequented by some knowledgeable and friendly folks....

I'm a mod on the les paul forum:

www.lespaulforum.org

It's a little more rough and tumble there than the Taylor forum, but I really like both places.

I post on the G&L forum quite a bit. Les Paul Forum is good, too.

I guess it depends on what kind of electric you play, just like the folks on here love Taylors.

I'm an Ernie Ball Music Man guy myself:

I'll put another vote in for the Les Paul Forum. Lily & Crew (That means you, Shawn) do a GREAT job over there providing a wealth of information and a cool place to hang! The LPF was my first guitar forum and still has a prominent place in my favorites list!

Here's my favorite:

The Hamer Fan Club Messageboard

There's ton of great info from the members.

Don't worry about the inside humor, They are with pancakes and fishnets like we are with pizza.

I like the LP forum, but I don't go there often since I'm not playing electric these days. Always a good place when I'm electrified or have a Gibson question.

Another vote for the Fender Forum. Tons of help with all electrics, pickups, FX, acoustics, everything. Good guys to buy from also.

For me PRS guitars are the Taylor's of electric. You'll find the same friendly folks at the PRS forum, most with a Taylor or two in their collection, you find here. Go to google and type " The Gear Page" to reash the PRS discussion forums. I also enjoy the Fender Forum.
