Well, this is a little different, you have to give him that. Yeah, you can tune a string up till it breaks, but if you tune them all up together, which breaks first the strings or the guitar?

Why not trying a set of 0,011" or 0,010 to crank to G Standard ?
I down tuned in C with a set of 0,013" instead of 0,012".
